A social and healthcare operator with properties across Finland needed one view of water use across a portfolio run by several property managers. With shared access to Smartvatten HUB, all stakeholders now see the same water data, enabling portfolio-wide comparison and monitoring for the first time.
Operators in the social and healthcare sector manage extensive property portfolios across Finland. Our customer has multiple sites, and maintenance responsibilities are divided among several property managers.
The customer already monitored water consumption property by property, but forming an overview at portfolio level was difficult. The data was fragmented, and not all relevant stakeholders had access to every site. This made it hard to compare water consumption, monitor performance and make proactive decisions.
Smartvatten HUB is a cloud-based service for real-time monitoring of property water consumption and deviations from a single view. HUB consolidates water consumption data into clear dashboards and enables comparison between sites as well as portfolio-level monitoring.
In this case, Smartvatten created a single shared set of credentials for the customer in HUB. Through these credentials, all relevant stakeholders can access water consumption data for the entire property portfolio in one place, regardless of who is responsible for property management at each site.
The solution was tailored to the customer’s operating model: multiple properties, multiple property managers and multiple users, all with a shared need for transparent and easily accessible water data.
The shared credentials proved to be the best possible solution for the customer. According to the customer, it now enables all necessary stakeholders to view water consumption data for all properties within the same service – something that was not previously possible.
The solution simplified daily operations and improved water consumption monitoring across the entire portfolio. At the same time, Smartvatten’s service gained visibility within the customer’s organization at a completely new level, as HUB began serving a wide range of user groups and supporting decision-making processes.
